Window shopping while we wait

Well its been a couple if not a few weeks since I blogged about the land basically because we both caught the flu and had some problems getting the bulldozer operator out to the property due to work and the weather.  During this time we have been window shopping for containers, flooring, insulation and cabinetry which is my favorite part of a building project F F& E( Fit, Furnish and Equip.)

It is going to take  good shopping skills to find the best deals and be beautiful and functional too. I had seen in a décor magazine some really pretty cabinets that came from IKEA and I went online and viewed their catalog and found that they had starter 10 foot sets starting at $1799.  That was enough to peak my interest so off we went to Katy to Ikea to check out the cabinets and countertops they have.  Everything there  you put together and comes in flat boxes so it will easy to transport to the property.  It gets more expensive when you have them deliver over 30 miles its $1.58 a mile.  I also found an incredible double farm sink $299 which to me is a really good deal.
